And there it is, a day to go somewhere new has arise. I said hello to the sun as it burns the ground and a pole as it just standing under the shade.

Tuesday 22nd of July was the day i went to ACRES, an Animal Concerns Research and Education Society since my friend was working as a volunteer there. ACRES is located on Jalan Lekar 91, it's a two hour trip by bus and monorail. I had wanted to go when my friend lined me.

"Get me some dole papayas please" she lined and so i had to stop by the grocery store Sheng Siong. I didn't see any dole papayas, only normal greens one, so i got her a dole banana instead lol it's practically the same right? Both does have the "dole" anyway ;p . I continued my trip by monorail, started from commonwealth mrt, got off at jurong east for an interchange to the red line and stop at chua chu kong mrt to ride the free shuttle bus. And here it is, the waiting begins, i waited and waited for the shuttle bus to come, sadly it only comes once per hour :( so i waited...

Then the free shutter bus finaly came, and it's green. I got inside the green shuttle bus, it is also empty, i did not think that Jalan Lekar was such a remote place, but when i arrived at Qian Hu fish market i looked around the place and all i saw were greens, greens and greens. I walked trying to find ACRES, i asked around some locals and they said it was just a one minute walk from the Qian Hu fish market. I walked and walked, i even walked on the middle of the road because there were almost no cars. I walked for almost ten minutes, and there was still no sign of ACRES, i called my friend and she described ACRES, she said the gate is open, and there are dogs inside. After wondering around aimlessly there was an open gate to some company, i let myself in but the place just doesn't seem right.... so i went back and suddenly somebody called me from inside a car. He asked me who i am and why am i wondering around in his property, a trading company. ....... A TRADING COMPANY!? And so i told the man i was lost and is looking for ACRES. The man said that i went in the wrong direction, he said i should have gone the other way. Fortunately, the man was kind enough to take me to ACRES in his car, he said that he was confused to see a girl walking at his property, i was deeply embarrassed and the kind local man laughed. Thanks kind local man whose name i don't know, and sadly i also didn't take any pictures of the man nor his company, since i was lost and troubled.

Continuing my journey, i arrived at ACRES. Finally saw my friend, looked around at some animals that has been taken care of by ACRES and taught how many animals are endangered because of abuse and killing. We had lunch, they only served vegetarian food there, but it was still delicious. Then we went back to Qian Hu fish farm to catch my bus back to Choa Chu Kang mrt. But we got our selves some ICE CREAM first.

After ice cream time, we looked around the fish galleries for a short while, then the bus arrived and i went back home. A pretty tiring trip, but overall interesting.
